Both. A seasonal contract covers every snowfall over a set trigger depth for one price across the winter, which most homeowners prefer because the cost is predictable. Per visit suits people who travel, work from home, or only want help after a big storm. We quote both so you can compare.
When does the driveway actually get cleared?
Seasonal customers are on a route, and routes run once snowfall passes the trigger depth in the agreement. Overnight snow means we are working through the night so driveways are passable for the morning. If a storm runs long we make a first pass to open the driveway, then come back to finish the edges.
Do you clear walkways and steps too, or only the driveway?
Walkways and steps are part of a standard residential quote. They matter more than the driveway in an ice event, and Kitchener requires property owners to clear the public sidewalk in front of their home within a set time after snow stops. We quote the sidewalk as part of the job.
What happens with the windrow the plow leaves at the end of my driveway?
