For anyone who has owned a home here for years, this is a new obligation on a property where it did not previously exist. The first heavy snowfall of the season is going to catch people who never had to think about it. If your quote includes the public sidewalk, it is handled inside the window.
Arthur Street and the Older Core
Arthur Street is the commercial spine and the older residential streets run off it. Heritage conservation work has been underway in the downtown, and the housing around it is the oldest stock in the community, with the narrow driveways and limited stacking room that go with any pre-war street layout.
Building South and West
New subdivision development has been concentrated to the south and west, including the Southwood and Barnswallow areas, which between them account for several hundred new units.
